Muller was born into a family of musicians, and his father, Jacobo Conradus Statius Muller, was a well-known composer and conductor in Curaçao. Muller's mother, Maria Magdalena Muller, was also a musician and a singer. Muller's musical journey began at a young age, and he started playing the piano when he was just six years old. He received his early musical education from his father, who taught him the basics of music theory and piano playing. Muller's father was a strict teacher, and he demanded perfection from his son. However, Muller was a talented and dedicated student, and he quickly mastered the piano. Muller's musical talent was recognized early on, and he was awarded a scholarship to study music in the Netherlands when he was just 16 years old. He studied at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where he received training in classical music composition and piano playing. Muller's time in the Netherlands was a formative period in his musical career, and he was exposed to a wide range of musical styles and traditions. After completing his studies in the Netherlands, Muller returned to Curaçao, where he began his career as a composer and pianist. He quickly established himself as one of the leading musicians in the Caribbean, and his music was widely acclaimed for its unique blend of classical and Caribbean influences. Muller's music was deeply rooted in the culture and traditions of Curaçao, and he drew inspiration from the island's rich musical heritage.
