Meta Duo is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2012 by two talented musicians, Meta Weiss and Oded Zehavi. The duo has gained a reputation for their unique and innovative approach to classical music, which combines traditional repertoire with contemporary works and improvisation. Meta Weiss, the cellist of the duo, is a highly accomplished musician who has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls. She has won numerous awards and competitions, including the Grand Prize at the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition and the Silver Medal at the International Johannes Brahms Competition. Weiss has also collaborated with many renowned musicians, including Itzhak Perlman, Pinchas Zukerman, and Yo-Yo Ma. Oded Zehavi, the pianist of the duo, is also a highly acclaimed musician who has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician. He has won numerous awards and competitions, including the First Prize at the International Piano Competition in Rome and the Second Prize at the International Piano Competition in Tel Aviv. Zehavi has also collaborated with many renowned musicians, including the Jerusalem Quartet and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. The duo's unique approach to classical music has earned them critical acclaim and a loyal following. They have performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the Berlin Philharmonic.
