Paul Finel was a renowned classical music artist who made a significant contribution to the world of music. He was born on June 12, 1950, in Paris, France, to a family of musicians. His father was a pianist, and his mother was a violinist. From a young age, Paul showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Paul's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons at the age of six and quickly developed his skills. By the age of ten, he had already won several local competitions and was considered a prodigy. In 1960, Paul's family moved to New York City, where he continued his music education. He attended the Juilliard School of Music, where he studied under the renowned pianist and teacher, Vladimir Horowitz. Under Horowitz's guidance, Paul honed his skills and developed his unique style of playing. In 1970, Paul made his debut performance at Carnegie Hall, where he received critical acclaim for his performance of Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14. This performance marked the beginning of Paul's successful career as a classical music artist. Over the years, Paul performed at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Sydney Opera House in Australia, and the Salle Pleyel in Paris. He also performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic. One of Paul's most memorable performances was his rendition of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Boston Symphony Orchestra in 1985.
