Wenzel Heinrich Veit was a classical music composer born on January 29, 1806, in the town of Königgrätz, Bohemia, which is now known as Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. He was the son of a musician and was introduced to music at a young age. His father, Johann Veit, was a violinist and a member of the local orchestra.
