Angela Tosheva is a renowned classical music artist who has made a name for herself in the world of music. Born on 14th February 1985 in Sofia, Bulgaria, Angela showed an interest in music at a very young age. Her parents, who were both music teachers, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue music as a career. Angela started playing the piano at the age of five and quickly showed a natural aptitude for the instrument. She began taking lessons from her mother, who was a piano teacher, and soon progressed to more advanced pieces. By the age of ten, Angela had already won several local competitions and had started performing in public. In 1996, Angela was accepted into the National School of Music in Sofia, where she continued her studies under the guidance of some of the best piano teachers in Bulgaria. During her time at the school, Angela won numerous awards and competitions, including the National Piano Competition for Young Musicians in 1998 and 1999. After completing her studies at the National School of Music, Angela was accepted into the National Academy of Music in Sofia, where she continued her training under the tutelage of Professor Milena Mollova. During her time at the academy, Angela won several awards, including the First Prize at the International Piano Competition in Plovdiv in 2003. In 2004, Angela was awarded a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she continued her training under the guidance of Professor Christopher Elton. During her time at the academy, Angela won several awards, including the Harold Craxton Prize for Accompaniment in 2005 and the Christian Carpenter Prize for Piano in 2006. After completing her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, Angela embarked on a successful career as a concert pianist. She has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Carnegie Hall in New York, and the Berlin Philharmonic Hall. Angela has also collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. She has worked with some of the most renowned conductors in the world, including Sir Simon Rattle, Daniel Barenboim, and Valery Gergiev. In addition to her performances as a soloist and with orchestras, Angela is also an accomplished chamber musician. She has collaborated with some of the world's leading chamber ensembles, including the Belcea Quartet, the Emerson Quartet, and the Takacs Quartet. Angela's performances have been widely praised by critics and audiences alike. She has been described as a "virtuoso pianist" with "a rare combination of technical brilliance and musical sensitivity." Her performances have been praised for their "clarity, precision, and emotional depth." Angela has also won numerous awards for her performances, including the First Prize at the International Piano Competition in Leeds in 2009 and the First Prize at the International Piano Competition in Moscow in 2011. In addition to her performing career, Angela is also a dedicated teacher. She has taught at some of the world's leading music schools, including the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Juilliard School in New York. She is also a frequent guest lecturer and masterclass teacher at music schools and festivals around the world.
