Lars Freden is a renowned classical music artist known for his exceptional skills as a cellist. Born on May 12, 1975, in Stockholm, Sweden, Lars showed an early interest in music and began playing the cello at the age of six. His parents, both musicians, recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. Lars received his formal music education at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned cellist Mats Lidström. He also attended masterclasses with some of the world's most celebrated cellists, including Yo-Yo Ma, Mstislav Rostropovich, and Jacqueline du Pré. After completing his studies, Lars began his professional career as a cellist, performing with various orchestras and ensembles in Sweden and across Europe.
