Andrej Gal was born on May 12, 1985, in Ljubljana, Slovenia. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Andrej showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. As a child, Andrej was a prodigious talent and quickly gained recognition for his exceptional musical abilities. He won his first piano competition at the age of six and went on to win numerous other competitions throughout his childhood and teenage years. In 2003, Andrej was accepted into the prestigious Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria, where he studied under the renowned pianist and pedagogue Karl-Heinz Kämmerling. During his time at the Mozarteum, Andrej honed his skills as a pianist and developed a deep understanding of the classical repertoire. After completing his studies at the Mozarteum, Andrej embarked on a successful career as a concert pianist.
