The orchestra was founded in 1998 by a group of talented musicians who shared a passion for classical music and a desire to create a world-class ensemble. The founding members of the Court Symphony Orchestra were all accomplished musicians who had previously performed with other orchestras and ensembles. They came together with the goal of creating a unique sound that would showcase their individual talents while also highlighting the beauty and complexity of classical music. The orchestra's main members include a diverse group of musicians who play a variety of instruments, including violins, cellos, trumpets, flutes, and percussion. Each member brings their own unique style and expertise to the group, creating a dynamic and captivating sound that has earned the orchestra critical acclaim and a loyal following. Over the years, the Court Symphony Orchestra has performed at some of the world's most prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall, the Royal Albert Hall, and the Sydney Opera House. The orchestra has also collaborated with some of the most renowned conductors and soloists in the classical music world, including Yo-Yo Ma, Lang Lang, and Itzhak Perlman. One of the highlights of the Court Symphony Orchestra's career was their performance at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. The orchestra was selected to perform at the opening ceremony, where they played a stirring rendition of Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" to a global audience of millions. The orchestra has also received numerous awards and accolades for their exceptional performances. In 2007, they were awarded the prestigious Grammy Award for Best Orchestral Performance for their recording of Mahler's Symphony No. 5. The orchestra has also been recognized for their commitment to education and outreach, with awards from organizations such as the National Endowment for the Arts and the American Symphony Orchestra League.
