Bo-Youp Hwang is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact on the world of music. Born on December 12, 1985, in Seoul, South Korea, Hwang showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Hwang's musical journey began at the Yewon School, a prestigious music school in Seoul, where he studied under the guidance of Professor Young-Joo Lee. He later attended the Seoul Arts High School, where he continued to hone his skills as a pianist. In 2004, Hwang was accepted into the Juilliard School in New York City, where he studied with Professor Yoheved Kaplinsky. During his time at Juilliard, Hwang won numerous awards and accolades, including the Gina Bachauer Piano Scholarship, the Arthur Rubinstein Prize, and the Juilliard Concerto Competition. He also performed in several prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. After graduating from Juilliard in 2008, Hwang continued to perform and compete in various international competitions. In 2010, he won the first prize at the International Piano Competition in San Marino, Italy, and the following year, he won the first prize at the International Piano Competition in Panama.
