Wolfram von Eschenbach was a German poet and composer of the High Middle Ages, born in the late 12th century in the town of Eschenbach in Bavaria. Wolfram's most famous work is the epic poem "Parzival," which tells the story of a young knight's quest for the Holy Grail.
