He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned classical guitarist and his mother a pianist. From a young age, Papachristos showed a natural talent for music and began playing the guitar at the age of six. Papachristos received his formal music education at the National Conservatory of Athens, where he studied under the guidance of some of the most prominent guitarists in Greece. He later continued his studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in Belgium, where he earned a degree in guitar performance. Throughout his career, Papachristos has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. He has also collaborated with some of the most renowned orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. One of the highlights of Papachristos' career was his performance at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, where he played a solo guitar piece during the opening ceremony. The performance was watched by millions of people around the world and received widespread critical acclaim. Papachristos has also won numerous awards throughout his career, including the first prize at the International Guitar Competition in Paris in 2008 and the second prize at the International Guitar Competition in Tokyo in 2010. He has also been awarded the prestigious "Young Artist of the Year" award by the Greek Ministry of Culture. In addition to his performing career, Papachristos is also a dedicated teacher and has taught at some of the most prestigious music schools around the world, including the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and the Juilliard School in New York.
