Timo Lassy is a Finnish saxophonist and composer who has made a name for himself in the world of jazz and classical music. Born on December 24, 1974, in Helsinki, Finland, Lassy grew up in a family of musicians. His father was a jazz guitarist, and his mother was a classical pianist. From a young age, Lassy was exposed to a wide range of musical genres, and he quickly developed a passion for jazz and classical music. Lassy began playing the saxophone when he was just 12 years old. He was initially drawn to the instrument because of its versatility and the wide range of sounds it could produce.
