Tetiana Havrylenko is a Ukrainian classical pianist who has gained international recognition for her virtuosic performances and musical interpretations. Born on August 22, 1987, in the city of Lviv, Ukraine, Havrylenko showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. She was quickly recognized as a prodigious talent and began studying with renowned teachers in Ukraine and abroad. Havrylenko's early musical education was shaped by her studies at the Lviv National Music Academy, where she received a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance in 2009. During her time at the academy, she won numerous awards and competitions, including the Grand Prix at the International Piano Competition in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz in Kiev in 2007. She also participated in masterclasses with some of the world's leading pianists, including Boris Berezovsky, Dmitry Bashkirov, and Andrzej Jasinski. After completing her studies in Lviv, Havrylenko continued her education at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in Germany, where she received a Master's degree in Piano Performance in 2012. During her time in Germany, she won several awards and competitions, including the 1st Prize at the International Piano Competition in Memory of Emil Gilels in Odessa in 2011. Havrylenko's career as a professional pianist began to take off in the years following her graduation from the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln. She has performed extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and North America, appearing as a soloist with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, the Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra, the Odessa Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Symphony Orchestra of the National Opera of Ukraine. One of Havrylenko's most notable performances took place in 2015, when she performed Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine at the Kiev Opera House. The performance was widely praised for its technical brilliance and emotional depth, and it helped to establish Havrylenko as one of the most exciting young pianists of her generation. In addition to her work as a soloist, Havrylenko is also an active chamber musician, collaborating with some of the world's leading instrumentalists and vocalists. She has performed in chamber music festivals throughout Europe and North America, and she has recorded several albums of chamber music repertoire, including works by Brahms, Schumann, and Shostakovich. Havrylenko's musical achievements have been recognized with numerous awards and honors.
