Camillo Bargoni was an Italian composer of the Baroque era, born in 1630 in the city of Bologna. He was the son of a musician, and his father recognized his son's musical talent at an early age. Bargoni began his musical education at the age of six, studying the violin and the organ. He quickly became proficient in both instruments and began composing his own music. Bargoni's early compositions were influenced by the music of his time, which was dominated by the works of composers such as Claudio Monteverdi and Girolamo Frescobaldi.
