He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Ellis showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Ellis received his formal music education at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied under the tutelage of some of the most renowned classical musicians of the time. He graduated with honors in 2007 and went on to pursue a career as a concert pianist. Ellis made his debut performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London in 2008, where he performed Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5. The performance was met with critical acclaim, and Ellis was hailed as a rising star in the classical music world. Over the years, Ellis has performed at some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Sydney Opera House in Australia, and the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. He has also collaborated with some of the most renowned orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and the Berlin Philharmonic. One of Ellis's most notable performances was his rendition of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the London Symphony Orchestra in 2012.
