The Arcadia Trio is a classical music ensemble that has been captivating audiences with their unique blend of sound and virtuosity since their founding in 2007. The trio consists of three highly skilled musicians: pianist Jacob Coleman, violinist Sarah Davidson, and cellist Anna Clift. Together, they have performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls around the world and have received numerous awards and accolades for their exceptional musicianship. The Arcadia Trio was founded in 2007 when Jacob Coleman, Sarah Davidson, and Anna Clift met while studying at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. The three musicians quickly discovered a shared passion for chamber music and decided to form a trio. They named their ensemble after the mythical land of Arcadia, a place of natural beauty and harmony, which they felt reflected the spirit of their music. From the beginning, the Arcadia Trio was committed to exploring a wide range of repertoire, from the classical masters to contemporary composers. They spent countless hours rehearsing and refining their sound, and their hard work paid off when they won the prestigious Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition in 2009. This was a major milestone for the trio, as it brought them national recognition and opened the door to many new performance opportunities. Since then, the Arcadia Trio has gone on to perform in some of the most renowned concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the Berlin Philharmonic. They have also been featured on numerous radio and television programs, including NPR's "Performance Today" and PBS's "Great Performances." One of the highlights of the Arcadia Trio's career was their performance at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. They were invited to perform at the Olympic Village, where they played a program of classical favorites and contemporary works to an enthusiastic audience of athletes and spectators. This was a truly unforgettable experience for the trio, as they were able to share their music with people from all over the world and be a part of the Olympic spirit of unity and excellence.
