Artist Info
Vocal Quartet Tempus is a classical music ensemble that has been captivating audiences with their unique blend of voices since their founding in 2008. The group consists of four members: soprano Maria, mezzo-soprano Anna, tenor Peter, and bass John. Each member brings their own distinct voice and personality to the group, creating a harmonious and dynamic sound. The idea for Vocal Quartet Tempus was born when the four members were studying at the same music conservatory in Europe. They quickly realized that they shared a passion for classical music and decided to form a group. They spent countless hours rehearsing and perfecting their sound, and soon began performing at local concerts and events. As their reputation grew, Vocal Quartet Tempus began to receive invitations to perform at larger venues and festivals. One of their most memorable performances was at the prestigious Salzburg Festival in Austria, where they received a standing ovation from the audience. They have also performed at the Berlin Philharmonic, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Carnegie Hall in New York City. In addition to their live performances, Vocal Quartet Tempus has released several albums, including their debut album "Tempus" in 2010 and their most recent album "Harmony" in 2018. Their albums have received critical acclaim and have been praised for their beautiful harmonies and unique arrangements. Over the years, Vocal Quartet Tempus has received numerous awards and accolades for their performances. They have won several international competitions, including the Grand Prix at the International Choral Competition in Budapest and the Gold Medal at the World Choir Games in South Korea. They have also been nominated for several classical music awards, including the Grammy Award for Best Classical Vocal Performance. Despite their success, Vocal Quartet Tempus remains humble and dedicated to their craft. They continue to rehearse and perform regularly, always striving to improve their sound and connect with their audiences. Their passion for classical music is evident in every performance, and they have inspired countless people around the world to appreciate and love this timeless art form.More....
