Cynthia Otis was born on May 12, 1985, in New York City. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Cynthia showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. She later picked up the violin and the cello, and by the age of ten, she was already performing in local concerts. Cynthia's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. They enrolled her in the Juilliard School's Pre-College Division, where she studied under some of the most renowned music teachers in the world. Cynthia excelled in her studies and won several awards and competitions, including the prestigious Juilliard Concerto Competition. After completing her studies at Juilliard, Cynthia went on to attend the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia.
