One of du Bailly's most famous works is his opera, Le Triomphe de l'Amour, which was first performed in 1626. The opera was a great success and was performed numerous times during du Bailly's lifetime. It is a pastoral work that tells the story of the triumph of love over jealousy and envy. The music is characterized by its lightness and grace, and it features a number of beautiful arias and duets. Another notable work by du Bailly is his ballet, Les Amours de Diane et d'Endymion, which was first performed in 1631. The ballet tells the story of the love between the goddess Diana and the shepherd Endymion.
