Born on May 22, 1975, in Oslo, Norway, Lindberg showed an early aptitude for music and began piano lessons at the age of six. Lindberg's early training was under the guidance of several renowned Norwegian pianists, including Einar Steen-Nøkleberg and Jens Harald Bratlie. He also studied with the legendary Russian pianist Lazar Berman, who had a profound influence on his playing style and approach to music. The performance was a resounding success, and Lindberg was praised for his technical brilliance and musical sensitivity.
