Niki Vasilakis is a renowned classical music artist who has made a name for herself as a violinist. Born in Adelaide, Australia, in 1975, Vasilakis grew up in a family of musicians. Her father was a violinist, and her mother was a pianist. From a young age, Vasilakis showed a keen interest in music and began playing the violin at the age of three. Vasilakis received her early music education at the Elder Conservatorium of Music in Adelaide. She later went on to study at the Juilliard School in New York City, where she received her Bachelor of Music degree. She also studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she received her Master of Music degree. Throughout her career, Vasilakis has performed with some of the world's most prestigious orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
