From a young age, Nuytten showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Nuytten's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and quickly progressed, showing a natural ability for the instrument. By the age of ten, Nuytten had already won several local piano competitions and was gaining recognition as a young prodigy. In 1997, Nuytten was accepted into the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where he studied under the renowned pianist and teacher, Daniel Blumenthal. Nuytten's talent and hard work paid off when he won first prize at the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2003.
