Schaghajegh Nosrati is a rising star in the world of classical music. Born in Tehran, Iran in 1992, Nosrati began playing the piano at the age of five. She showed a natural talent for the instrument and quickly began to excel in her studies. Nosrati's parents recognized her potential and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. They enrolled her in the Tehran Conservatory of Music, where she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist Farman Behboud. Under Behboud's tutelage, Nosrati developed a deep appreciation for classical music and began to hone her skills as a pianist. In 2009, Nosrati won first prize in the Tehran Conservatory's piano competition, which marked the beginning of her career as a professional musician. She went on to win several other competitions in Iran, including the Fajr International Music Festival and the Rudolf Firkusny International Piano Competition. In 2013, Nosrati moved to Germany to continue her studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich. There, she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and pedagogue Franz Massinger. Under Massinger's tutelage, Nosrati continued to develop her skills as a pianist and began to gain recognition on the international stage. In 2017, Nosrati won first prize in the International Piano Competition in San Marino, which marked a major milestone in her career. She went on to perform at several prestigious venues, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Konzerthaus Berlin, and the Herkulessaal in Munich. Nosrati's performances have been praised for their technical precision and emotional depth. She has a particular affinity for the music of J.S. Bach, and her performances of his works have been described as "spellbinding" and "transcendent." In addition to her performances, Nosrati is also a dedicated teacher. She has taught masterclasses in Iran, Germany, and the United States, and is committed to sharing her love of music with the next generation of musicians.
