Nozomi Kanda is a renowned classical music artist who has made a name for herself in the world of music. Born on December 12, 1985, in Tokyo, Japan, Kanda showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Her parents, who were both music enthusiasts, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Kanda's early years were spent studying music at the Yamaha Music School in Tokyo. She quickly excelled in her studies and began participating in local music competitions. At the age of 10, Kanda won first prize in the Yamaha Music Foundation Piano Competition, which was a significant achievement for her at such a young age. Kanda's talent continued to grow, and she was soon accepted into the prestigious Toho Gakuen School of Music in Tokyo. There, she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Akiko Iguchi. Kanda's time at Toho Gakuen was a turning point in her career, as she was exposed to a wide range of musical styles and techniques. After graduating from Toho Gakuen, Kanda continued her studies at the Juilliard School in New York City. There, she studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Yoheved Kaplinsky.
