Michael Bawtree is a renowned classical music artist who has made significant contributions to the world of music as a conductor, pianist, and composer. Born in England in 1944, Bawtree showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. He went on to study music at the Royal College of Music in London, where he received a scholarship to study piano with Kendall Taylor. After completing his studies, Bawtree began his career as a pianist, performing in concerts and recitals throughout Europe and North America. Another notable performance was Bawtree's conducting of the world premiere of his own composition, "The Garden of Dreams," with the Victoria Symphony Orchestra in 1996.
