Joo Yeon Sir is a South Korean violinist who has made a name for herself in the classical music world. Born in Seoul in 1990, Joo Yeon began playing the violin at the age of four. Her parents recognized her talent early on and encouraged her to pursue music as a career. Joo Yeon's early musical education was in South Korea, where she studied with some of the country's top violin teachers. She quickly gained a reputation as a prodigy, winning numerous competitions and awards. At the age of 12, she made her debut as a soloist with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2004, Joo Yeon moved to the United Kingdom to continue her musical education. She enrolled at the Purcell School of Music, a prestigious boarding school for young musicians. There, she studied with renowned violinist Tasmin Little, who became her mentor and inspiration. Joo Yeon's time at the Purcell School was a turning point in her career.
