Giuseppe Talamo was born on May 12, 1985, in Naples, Italy. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a pianist and his mother a singer. From a young age, Talamo showed a natural talent for music and began studying the piano at the age of six. Talamo's early musical education was focused on classical piano, and he quickly became known for his technical proficiency and musical sensitivity. He studied with some of the most renowned piano teachers in Italy, including Aldo Ciccolini and Bruno Canino. In 2003, Talamo won first prize at the International Piano Competition "Città di Marsala," which marked the beginning of his career as a concert pianist. He went on to win several other prestigious competitions, including the International Piano Competition "Premio Città di Imola" and the International Piano Competition "Città di Treviso." Talamo's career as a concert pianist took off in the early 2000s, and he quickly became known for his virtuosic performances and his ability to bring out the emotional depth of the music he played.
