He was the youngest of three children and grew up in a family that was passionate about music. His father was a professional pianist, and his mother was a music teacher. From a young age, Max showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Max's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and quickly developed his skills. By the age of ten, Max had already won several local piano competitions and was considered a prodigy. In 1986, Max's family moved to Vienna, Austria, where he continued his musical education. He enrolled in the Vienna Conservatory and studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Maria João Pires. Under her guidance, Max honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. Max's talent and dedication paid off when he won the prestigious International Piano Competition in Vienna in 1992. This was a major turning point in his career, and he began to receive invitations to perform at major concert halls around the world. Over the next few years, Max performed at some of the most prestigious venues in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. He also collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the Vienna Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic. Max's performances were always highly acclaimed, and he quickly became known for his technical brilliance and his ability to bring out the emotional depth of the music. He was particularly renowned for his interpretations of the works of Beethoven, Mozart, and Chopin. In 1998, Max released his first album, which featured his interpretations of Beethoven's Piano Sonatas.
