As she grew older, Braithwaite became increasingly interested in classical music and began studying under renowned pianist and teacher, Professor John Smith. Under his guidance, she quickly developed her skills and began performing in local concerts and competitions. In 2003, Braithwaite was accepted into the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London, where she studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Professor Sarah Jones. During her time at the academy, Braithwaite honed her skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. After graduating from the academy in 2007, Braithwaite began performing professionally and quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented young pianists in the country.
