Andre Labinsky was born on May 15, 1985, in Moscow, Russia. His parents were both musicians, and they encouraged him to pursue music from a young age. Labinsky began playing the piano when he was just four years old, and he quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. As a child, Labinsky studied at the Moscow Conservatory, one of the most prestigious music schools in the world. He was a dedicated student, spending hours each day practicing and perfecting his technique. By the time he was a teenager, he had already won several local and regional piano competitions. In 2003, Labinsky moved to the United States to attend the Juilliard School in New York City. After graduating from Juilliard in 2007, Labinsky began to establish himself as a soloist and chamber musician. One of Labinsky's most memorable performances came in 2010, when he played Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 with the Berlin Philharmonic. The concert was a huge success, and Labinsky received a standing ovation from the audience. He was also praised by critics for his "brilliant technique" and "deeply expressive playing." In addition to his solo work, Labinsky is also a dedicated chamber musician.
