Fernando Luis Ciuffo was born on May 12, 1985, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a pianist and his mother a singer. From a young age, Fernando showed a natural talent for music and began studying the piano at the age of four. As Fernando grew older, he became increasingly interested in classical music and began studying under some of the most renowned teachers in Argentina. He quickly gained a reputation as a prodigious talent, and by the age of 12, he had already won several local competitions. In 1998, Fernando was awarded a scholarship to study at the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. There, he continued to hone his skills under the tutelage of some of the world's most renowned pianists. He also began to perform in some of the city's most prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. In 2002, Fernando graduated from Juilliard with a Bachelor of Music degree. He then went on to pursue a Master's degree at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied under the renowned pianist Maria João Pires. Throughout his career, Fernando has won numerous awards and accolades for his performances. In 2004, he won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Santander, Spain. He has also been a finalist in several other international competitions, including the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition and the Leeds International Piano Competition. Fernando has performed with some of the world's most renowned orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic. He has also collaborated with some of the world's most renowned conductors, including Daniel Barenboim, Simon Rattle, and Gustavo Dudamel. In addition to his performances, Fernando is also a dedicated teacher. He has taught masterclasses at some of the world's most prestigious music schools, including the Juilliard School, the Royal Academy of Music, and the Conservatoire de Paris.
