Magnus Ericsson was born on May 15, 1985, in Stockholm, Sweden. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his mother being a pianist and his father a cellist. From a young age, Magnus showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Magnus received his formal music education at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and pedagogue, Professor Lars Sellergren.
