The North-South String Quartet is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 1980 by violinist Claudia Schaer and cellist Maxine Neuman. They have also performed at major music festivals, including the Newport Music Festival, the Cape May Music Festival, and the Festival Internacional de Música de Cámara de Aguascalientes in Mexico.
