Giovanni Battista Lampugnani was an Italian composer of the Baroque era, born in Milan in 1708. He was the son of a musician and grew up in a musical family, which likely influenced his decision to pursue a career in music. Lampugnani began his musical education at a young age, studying with his father and other local musicians. He quickly showed a talent for composition and was soon writing his own music.
