Giacomo Nanni was born on May 12, 1985, in Rome, Italy. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a pianist and his mother a singer. From a young age, Nanni showed a natural talent for music and began studying the piano at the age of five. As he grew older, Nanni's passion for music continued to grow, and he began to explore other instruments, including the violin and the cello. He also began to study music theory and composition, and by the age of 16, he had already composed several pieces of music. In 2003, Nanni was accepted into the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome, where he studied piano performance under the guidance of renowned pianist Sergio Perticaroli. During his time at the conservatory, Nanni also studied composition and music theory, and he began to develop a unique style that blended classical and contemporary elements. After graduating from the conservatory in 2007, Nanni began to perform professionally, both as a solo pianist and as a member of various chamber music ensembles. In 2010, Nanni was invited to perform at the prestigious Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, Italy. In 2015, Nanni was awarded the prestigious Premio Abbiati, which is considered one of the highest honors in the world of classical music. The award recognized Nanni's contributions to the field of music and his ability to push the boundaries of traditional classical music. Today, Nanni continues to perform and record music, and he is widely regarded as one of the most innovative and talented classical musicians of his generation.
