Laura Greenberg was born on May 15, 1975, in New York City. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Laura showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. She also started composing her own music at a young age, and her parents encouraged her to pursue her passion for music. Laura attended the Juilliard School in New York City, where she studied composition with some of the most renowned composers of the time. She also studied piano and cello, and her skills on these instruments helped her to develop a unique style of composition that blended classical and contemporary elements. After graduating from Juilliard, Laura began working as a freelance composer, writing music for film, television, and theater. She also continued to compose classical music, and her works were performed by some of the most prestigious orchestras and ensembles in the world. One of Laura's most notable works is her Symphony No. 1, which was commissioned by the New York Philharmonic in 2005.
