Corey Smythe is a highly acclaimed classical music artist who has made a name for himself as a pianist, composer, and improviser. Born in 1980 in the United States, Smythe grew up in a family of musicians and was exposed to music from a very young age. His father was a jazz pianist, and his mother was a classical pianist, which gave him a unique perspective on music and helped him develop a deep appreciation for both genres. Smythe began playing the piano at the age of four and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. He studied classical piano throughout his childhood and teenage years, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Rochester's Eastman School of Music.
