From a young age, Finn showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Finn's parents recognized his potential and enrolled him in the Juilliard School's Pre-College Division when he was just six years old. There, he studied under renowned pianist and teacher Yoheved Kaplinsky. Finn's talent and dedication quickly became apparent, and he was soon performing in recitals and competitions. In 1997, at the age of 12, Finn won first prize in the International Piano Competition for Young Musicians in Enschede, Netherlands. This was a major achievement for the young pianist and helped to launch his career. Finn continued to study at Juilliard throughout his teenage years, and in 2003 he was accepted into the school's prestigious college division. He studied under the guidance of pianist and teacher Robert McDonald, who helped to refine Finn's technique and musicality. While at Curtis, Finn continued to perform in recitals and competitions, and in 2009 he won first prize in the International Piano Competition in Leeds, England. This was a major achievement for Finn, as the Leeds competition is one of the most prestigious piano competitions in the world. Following his success in Leeds, Finn began to receive invitations to perform with orchestras and at music festivals around the world. He quickly established himself as one of the leading pianists of his generation, with a reputation for his technical prowess and emotional depth. In 2012, Finn released his debut album, which featured works by Beethoven, Chopin, and Liszt. The album received critical acclaim and helped to further establish Finn's reputation as a rising star in the classical music world. Since then, Finn has continued to perform and record extensively, with a particular focus on the works of Beethoven.
