Sonntraud Engels-Benz is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born on August 22, 1956, in Stuttgart, Germany, Engels-Benz showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Engels-Benz received her formal music education at the Stuttgart Conservatory, where she studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Prof. Helmut Lachenmann. She graduated with honors in 1978 and went on to pursue further studies at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria.
