Mathilde Milwidsky is a British classical violinist who has been making waves in the music industry with her exceptional talent and passion for music. Born in London in 1994, Mathilde grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. She started playing the violin at the age of four and quickly showed a natural aptitude for the instrument. Mathilde's early musical education was under the tutelage of her mother, who instilled in her a love for classical music and a strong work ethic. She later went on to study at the Royal College of Music in London, where she was awarded a scholarship to study with Itzhak Rashkovsky. During her time at the Royal College of Music, Mathilde won numerous awards and prizes, including the prestigious Tagore Gold Medal for outstanding achievement. Mathilde's talent and dedication to her craft have led to numerous high-profile performances and collaborations with some of the world's leading musicians. In 2016, she was invited to perform at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the BBC Proms, where she played the solo violin part in Vaughan Williams' The Lark Ascending. In addition to her solo performances, Mathilde is also an accomplished chamber musician, having performed with some of the world's leading ensembles, including the London Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
