In 2016, he was commissioned by the Iceland Symphony Orchestra to write a piece for their 70th anniversary season. The resulting work, "Aequora," is a lush, atmospheric piece that features soaring melodies and rich harmonies. He has performed as a soloist with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and has conducted several of his own works with various ensembles.
