Chalino Sanchez was a Mexican singer and composer who is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in the history of regional Mexican music. Born on August 30, 1960, in Sinaloa, Mexico, Sanchez grew up in a family of musicians and was exposed to music from a young age. His father, Santos Sanchez, was a musician who played the guitar and sang traditional Mexican songs, and his mother, Senorina Felix, was a singer who performed at local events. Sanchez's childhood was marked by poverty and hardship, and he was forced to drop out of school at a young age to help support his family.
