Millicent Silver was born on May 12, 1985, in London, England. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Millicent showed a natural talent for music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Millicent's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She began taking private lessons with renowned violinists and attended the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she studied under the guidance of Professor David Takeno. During her time at the Royal Academy of Music, Millicent won several awards and competitions, including the prestigious Royal Academy of Music Bach Prize and the Royal Philharmonic Society's Julius Isserlis Scholarship. These awards helped to establish Millicent as a rising star in the classical music world. After graduating from the Royal Academy of Music, Millicent began performing with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic.
