One of Bobri's most famous works is his Piano Concerto No. 1, which he composed in 1932. The concerto is a virtuosic showcase for the soloist, with sweeping melodies and intricate passagework. It was premiered by the New York Philharmonic, with Bobri himself as the soloist. Bobri also composed several ballets, including "The Snow Maiden" and "The Firebird." These works were heavily influenced by the music of Igor Stravinsky, whom Bobri had studied with in Paris. Bobri's ballets were known for their lush orchestration and dramatic storytelling. In addition to his work as a composer, Bobri was also a respected conductor. He conducted the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the Philadelphia Orchestra, among others. Bobri continued to compose and perform throughout his life, and he remained active in the music world until his death in 1976.
