The duo has gained international recognition for their exceptional performances and unique interpretations of classical music. Roberto Di Renzo was born in Rome, Italy, in 1975. He began playing the piano at the age of six and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. He went on to study at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome, where he received his diploma in piano performance with honors. He continued his studies at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist, Sergio Perticaroli. Anastasia Di Renzo was born in Moscow, Russia, in 1978. She began playing the cello at the age of seven and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. She went on to study at the Moscow State Conservatory, where she received her diploma in cello performance with honors. She continued her studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hannover, Germany, where she studied under the guidance of renowned cellist, Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt. The two musicians met in Rome in 2001 and quickly fell in love. They began performing together as a duo shortly thereafter and quickly gained a reputation for their exceptional performances. They have since performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. One of the duo's most notable performances was their 2010 performance at the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. They performed Tchaikovsky's Piano Trio in A minor, Op. 50, and received a standing ovation from the audience. The performance was praised by critics for its emotional depth and technical precision. The duo has also received numerous awards and accolades for their performances. In 2008, they were awarded the prestigious Premio Abbiati award for their outstanding contributions to the world of classical music. They have also been awarded the Grand Prix du Disque and the Diapason d'Or for their recordings. In addition to their performances as a duo, Roberto and Anastasia Di Renzo are also accomplished soloists.
