Born on May 12, 1985, in Berlin, Germany, Göstenmeier showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. His parents, who were both music enthusiasts, recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion. Göstenmeier's musical journey began with his enrollment in a local music school, where he received formal training in piano. At the age of 12, he won his first major competition, the Berlin Piano Competition, which marked the beginning of his successful career.
