Marco Granados is a renowned classical flutist, born on December 26, 1960, in Caracas, Venezuela. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a guitarist and his mother a singer. Granados started playing the flute at the age of nine and quickly showed exceptional talent. He received his early musical training at the Juan Manuel Olivares Music Conservatory in Caracas, where he studied with renowned flutist William Bennett. In 1981, Granados moved to the United States to continue his musical education at the Juilliard School in New York City. He studied with Julius Baker, one of the most influential flutists of the 20th century.
