Julia Purgina is a classical music artist who has made a name for herself as a pianist and chamber musician. Born in Vienna, Austria in 1995, Purgina began playing the piano at the age of four. Her parents, both musicians, recognized her talent early on and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Purgina's early training was with her mother, who was a piano teacher. She also attended the Vienna Conservatory, where she studied with renowned pianist and pedagogue Paul Badura-Skoda.
