The International Chamber Soloists is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2006 by a group of musicians who shared a passion for chamber music. The ensemble is made up of some of the most talented and accomplished musicians from around the world, who come together to create beautiful and inspiring performances. The founding members of the International Chamber Soloists were violinist Joanna Maurer, violist David Aaron Carpenter, cellist Mihai Marica, and pianist Bryan Wagorn. All four musicians had already established themselves as soloists and chamber musicians, and they were eager to explore the possibilities of playing together as a group. From the beginning, the International Chamber Soloists set out to create performances that were both technically impressive and emotionally engaging. They focused on playing a wide range of repertoire, from classical masterpieces to contemporary works, and they worked tirelessly to perfect their ensemble playing. Over the years, the International Chamber Soloists have performed at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls and festivals. They have been praised for their virtuosity, their musical sensitivity, and their ability to connect with audiences. One of the highlights of the International Chamber Soloists' career was their performance at the 2010 Salzburg Festival. They were invited to perform as part of the festival's "Young Artists" series, which showcases some of the most promising young musicians from around the world. The ensemble's performance was a huge success, and they received a standing ovation from the audience. Another memorable performance by the International Chamber Soloists was their collaboration with the renowned pianist Lang Lang. In 2012, the ensemble joined Lang Lang for a performance of Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 24 in C minor. The concert was held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, and it was broadcast live on BBC Radio 3. The performance was widely praised for its energy, precision, and musicality. In addition to their performances, the International Chamber Soloists have also received numerous awards and accolades.
