The ensemble has also performed internationally, including tours to Japan, China, and Europe. One of the highlights of the CSUIWO's performances was its appearance at the 2011 CBDNA National Conference in Seattle, Washington. The ensemble was selected to perform as one of only six wind ensembles from across the United States. The CSUIWO's performance was highly acclaimed, and it received a standing ovation from the audience. Another notable performance by the CSUIWO was its appearance at the 2015 California All-State Music Education Conference in San Jose, California. The ensemble performed a program that included works by composers such as John Mackey, Percy Grainger, and Frank Ticheli.
